RN Clinical Director

Reports to:  Executive Director   Status: Full time Salaried

Manages & oversees the flow of clinical services and feedback to include lab, sono, clinical health education/counseling, NP, RN & CRNA assessment & services, surgical & nonsurgical health care, quality assurance and compliance with clinical stands of care and targeted outcomes.  Collaborates with the Office Manager to assure well run business and clinical operations of Cliff Valley Clinic and other decisions requiring input from both functions to include weather delays, security incidents, safety & risk management and scheduling or shuffling of staff as daily work demands are identified.  Assures time schedules & performance feedback and evaluations are completed on each clinical employee’s anniversary date, all new clinical employees are oriented and evaluated according to FWHC and State licensure requirements and a commitment to the mission of the FWHC.  Administrates clinical operations in collaboration with the Medical Director and Nursing Supervisor to assure appropriate credentialing, completion of the medical record, contract employee negotiations, medical equipment maintenance, medical supplies and employee records. Works closely with the other Directors in fiscal planning, community outreach, marketing, fundraising and security and staff development. Represents the Clinic and Center as needed in Community Relations.

Supervises:  Nurses, RN Clinical Compliance & Training Coordinator ( FT), OR Supervisor (FT), DRM Coordinator and other nonsurgical programs such as THI, Safe House Contraceptives, FA’s & clinically based funded other funded initiatives (FT), Contract Clinical Staff,  Support Services  (Laboratory, Sono & Pathology), OR and Recovery Room staff. (FT)


Office Manager

Reports to: Finance Director    Status: Full time Salaried

Manages & oversees the daily business operations and flow for CVC medical office intake, CVC funding assistance and insurance reimbursement, complete documentation of medical records, intake and payment, billing, collaborative community agreements, IT communications, training  web communications (portals & emails) employee and patient scheduling, follow up marketing and quality reporting, efficiency & security of revenue cycles and budget, maintenance of clinic office equipment, chart reviews, Q-Care activities and reporting, medical records reviews, compliance with state reporting, data collection and submission, marketing data collection (feedback), office staff development & training, patient satisfaction & educational groups for informed consent.  Overall practice management.  Responsible for hiring of business office operations employees to include hiring, terminations, appropriate training, coaching and over site of LEAD employees, intake, revenue cycles, credentialing, and contract negotiations. Serves as overall Practice Manager, troubleshooting problems and monitoring resolutions and recommendations.  Assures quality staff performance and facilitates effective teamwork. Manages new and existing managed care contracts and community business agreements. Completes financial and practice activity reports and analysis or projections in collaboration with the Finance Director. Supervises and coordinates the work activity related to business risk management, audits, self-pay collections, and payment posting. Oversees the annual operating budget and develops business & productivity goals. Maintains and approves clinic vendor and processes check requests and time records for area of responsibility, reviewing payroll advance and PTO requests before routing directly to Director.  Acts as liaison with HR concerns and policy enforcement.  Approves all business office all accounts payable information for accounts payable efficiently and accurately for submission. Supervises: Scheduling for work area, Customer service, Intake, Medical Records storage and retrieval, Insurance & Billing, Forms Management, Business Office Policies & Procedures and documentation/reporting compliance of statistical data and state reporting.   Assures communications and records are HIPPA compliant and available as needed.  Maintains formal administrative and screening policies as well as CVC business contracts are accessible, current, cost effective and appropriate to meet needs.  Maintains patient follow up from a business and client or referral source satisfaction perspective.

 Whole Woman’s Surgical Center offers full-range medical and surgical services for women, including abortion care from 5 to 25 weeks. In addition to our specialization in abortion, we offer well-woman gynecological services, counseling, and general women’s health resources. General Requirements

Able to support and advocate for a woman’s right to choose abortion

Remarkable leadership capacity and passion for women’s health

Organization and project management skills

Systems thinking – able to design and implement streamlined systems

Bachelor’s degree, minimum

Health care management experience – women’s health or ambulatory surgery preferred

RN/APC’s with leadership/management experience are welcome

QA/PI program management experience

Infection control certification a plus

Familiar with regulatory compliance – DSHS, AAAHC, OSHA, CLIA, etc

Fluency in Spanish preferred

Competence using computers, software/web ware, office and medical equipment

Must be able to work 5 days per week, including Saturdays
