Abortion Care Network Leadership Profiles

Charlotte Taft

Charlotte Taft has provided leadership for ACN since the summer of 2009 with her vision of quality care by independent providers. Charlotte is the recipient of the David Gunn Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008 and the former Vice President of the ACN Board. She is a counselor and consultant with Imagine and was the director of Routh St. Clinic in Dallas for many years. She combines a visionary spirit with practical business skills. ACN will focus on building the network of the abortion care community.

ACN is led by a Board of Directors who commits their time and energy, and shares their experience and wisdom, in order to guide our organization. We have made a commitment to fiscal responsibility and creative organizing. Jennifer Moore Conrow, Chair - Community Relations Coordinator, Cherry Hill Women's Center, NJ where she has worked for several years. She has also been involved in community pro choice organizations including NARAL.

Peg Johnston, Chair Emeritus, former President of the Abortion Conversation Project as well as a founder and past president of the National Coalition of Abortion Providers. She owns Access for Women which manages the Office of Amy Cousins MD Upstate NY. She is the creator of the Pregnancy Options Workbooks and other counseling aids. She is chair of the programming committee.
